Since I had known about the Palace on Wheels train service in India I have been dreaming to explore India through a train journey. Palace on Wheels tour was a mesmerizing journey now inscribed in my mind. The most memorable was the dining and drinking. The menus were both Indian and continental. The cuisines were delicious; I can say now Indians know how to serve to its guests most magnificently. Even the interiors of the luxury train were so well-decorated.
Jaisalmer and Jaipur visit was so fascinating. Palace on Wheel fulfilled my wilderness spirit also. I explored also the wildlife of Ranthambore National Park and Bharatpur Bird sanctuary. But the Palace on Wheel train journey mostly reminded me now the beauty of Taj Mahal. What a wonderful creation it is? Besides I discovered the countryside of India while the train penetrated through the countryside.
The seven days journey was so enjoyable. The train has indoor games facilities. Even I had made so many friends in my journey when I toured the places in a group. Now I can say while visiting in Palace on Wheel make friends, love, laugh, drink, feel the warm hospitality…The lounge is the perfect place for relaxation and making friends.
